The One and Only Flower in the World

I was looking at flowers before a floral shop.
Everyone favors a different variety,
Yet all the flowers are equally beautiful.
The flowers do not battle to be the top of all.
In the bucket, they are proud of being what they are.

Why do we compare one another?
We are all different,
Yet why do we insist on being the top of all?

Everyone of us holds the one flower in the world,
The unique flower and the unique seed,
And one should make an effort to flourish.

I was looking at a man who was smiling anxiously.
Every one of the flowers was blooming beautifully.
No wonder why he could not decide the one to choose.
And he was finally out from the shop. Then, I saw him
Smiling happily with a colorful bouquet.

Once, I found a flower without a name,
Blooming in the place where anyone hardly noticed.
Still, the flower made me happy. And so should we.

Everyone of us holds the one flower in the world,
The unique flower and the unique seed,
And one should make an effort to flourish.

Little or full -- no two flowers are the same.
Seeking to be as the number one is not all.
Each one of us is essentially special,
The only one in the world.
